AEGIS is a battle game of combining robots and strategic battles. Choose your team, deploy your robots, fight against the enemy, and combine to form bigger, more powerful robots!
Monolith Arena is the spiritual successor to Portal Games’s classic Neuroshima Hex. While most things remain the same for veterans of the series, the monoliths themselves add a new dimension of play to the familiar formula.
Created by our friends over at Studio Woe, Gruff is a “tactical game of mutated monster goats.” Created by League of Legends dev-team veterans Brent and Virginia Critchfield, the game features art that is both terrifying and adorable at the same time. Gameplay is all about building your own specialized team of goats and playing out the cards in your deck to break through your opponent’s team and defeat their Shepherd.
Red Dragon Inn has been a staple of tabletop gaming for over a decade now, and we’re honored to have the chance to bring it to Millennium Blades! For those who haven’t encountered RDI before, the best way to describe it is as a gamer’s party game. There’s enough going on mechanically to satisfy an audience of experienced players, but the action is wacky and chaotic. Most of all, this is a game that was designed for fun among groups of gamer friends–a principle that we at Level 99 Games feel immense kinship with, and one which makes it a great fit for Millennium Blades!
Street Masters is a cooperative beat-em-up brawl from our friends at Blacklist Games. Last year, we had the opportunity to become part of the game ourselves by contributing three heroes from the World of Indines universe to appear as allies within the world of Street Masters. Now, we’ve decided to return the favor and bring the cast of Street Masters to one of our own games!
Hello, all! The preview for today is a character being added to Devastations base box – Gar, the Guide to the Six Paths!
Gar is a straightforward brawler with a variety of dangerous control effects and unusually simple attack pairs. Her Styles are extremely efficient, giving her solid movement effects and other benefits when combined with her UA. And speaking of…
Today’s preview is our second stretch goal character – Andrus. The Royal Bodyguard uses two special tokens to power up his attacks, different Blade Tokens with unique effects that cycle with his attack pair just like Vanaah’s. This gives him some extra flexibility, though many of his Styles only provide their best effects if he uses them with a Blade.
Of the banned characters in Devastation, Arec was definitely the most deserving – at least after the starting position changes toned down a bit of Kaitlyn’s tremendous positioning power. His UA is one of the strongest in the game, with the ability to completely shut down a wide swath of enemy options under the guise of “fairness”, and his Styles were among the best brawling styles a fighter could ask for.
Daniel tells you how we went about fixing that.
From the very beginning, Soak has been something really hard to value in BattleCON. UA-granted Soak in particular, like on Eustace and Kallistar and Voco, is really hard to value because adding a free “and sometimes your attacks fail” to opponent kits means that if Soak UAs are strong then they feel really terrible to play against - and Voco was no exception. His character concept was originally a runaway zoner that absorbed attacks and kited opponents with life loss, requiring awkward ranges and lots of mobility.
Today’s preview is Rheye Kal, a powerful Celestial who fights by controlling the board with limited-use Seals. Each one gives her a special trick that activates when the opponent moves or is moved onto it, either disrupting their triggered abilities or giving a 3-life swing depending on who’s hitting this beat. She’s a Flight 5 Tactician specializing in surprise disables and powerful trades when the opponent least expects it, as well as some powerful burst mobility and space control.
